Digilube System's LP993 is a high-temperature synthetic-based fluid compounded for chain and conveyor lubrication where ambient temperatures can cause severe and premature lubricant failure and conveyor chain wear. The base fluid incorporates a high flash point and excellent anti-wear properties, and exhibits good metal adhesion. More importantly, at temperatures above the flash point, the fluid component will not degrade into carbon or carbon residue. LP993 exhibits total or clean burn-off and remains completely ashless. This allows the lubricated surfaces to run cleanly without carbon abrasives or residue that adversely affect conveyor chain life through premature wear.

Being a water–soluble lubricant, LP993 is ideal in applications where compatibility with water-dispersed and E-coatings are required. In severe hot spot applications, LP993 can dramatically extend equipment life and reduce downtime. 

Applications include open race trolley wheels and guide rollers, sealed trolley wheels, chain pins and links, chain rollers and bushings, rider plates and wear bars, sealed rollers and bushings, drive chains, cable joints, caster wheels, flat-top and slat wheels, retractable dog mechanisms and actuator linkages, and carrier king pins.
